I bought this singlespeed road bike in October of ’09, basically just to use it as an extra bike to ride through the cold, wet months when the trails are closed.

Since I got it, I’ve made several updates, including taller gearing, new saddle, seatpost, brake pads, and a custom wheelset I built myself (my first ever wheel built, by the way) and, of course, tires.

I barely get any miles on my MTB anymore since the trails are usually sloppy even in the summer months, and because I love the way it rides.
